Another gig

Just a quick update really. We played last Friday at St Nic's in Durham. We were the second of three acts and followed an amazing choir (who were an offshoot of the Sage choir). I was extremely nervous that our style of music would not go down well. I shouldn't have worried. We were greatly appreciated, people clapped along and generally had fun. Afterwards, folks were really complimentary (someone came at the end and said how much she had enjoyed my playing! How very kind!)

I've also started to try and get some new harmonicas with my piano teaching money. I wanted a few spares in the keys I play most often. So now have a new A Bb and C. All are Big Rivers so they should last a while.

New projects

Although I haven't been updating this blog recently, I have been playing a fair bit. I have worked up a version of The Old Grey Whistle Test theme which I intend to record when I get a camera which sounds half decent.

Also I have started to work out the St Louis Blues. Good fun.
